The chef Jonathan Pingris has acquired a charcoal oven Pira 45 LUX Inox, with which from now he adds the incomparable taste of authentic grilled at his restaurant.

Le Bistrot de Paris is one of the gastronomic references of Saint-Etienne, the capital of the department of Loire in France. The restaurant is an old acquaintance in the region called “Stéphanoise”. Jonathan and his team take the direction of the restaurant in 2013, and from the begining they positioned the restaurant among the favorites in the city.

Located in the heart of the village, in the popular Jean Jaures square, Le Bistrot de Paris is the unique restaurant in Saint-Etienne referenced by the prestigious Gault & Millau guide, and they have received this award for the second consecutive year. The Restaurant is also distinguished with very laudatory comments on the world famous Michelin guide, as well as numerous blogs and specialized websites.

Its interior is cozy and has a dining room of 60 seats, equipped with reserved for business lunches or intimate dinners. The outdoors terrace is surrounded by beautiful flower beds, can accommodate 100 guests. At the terrace is where Jonathan has decided to place the new Pira charcoal oven , cooking meats, fish and vegetables at sight.

The chef Jonathan Pingris formed with Paul Bocuse and Nicolas Le Bec, has increased the typical food “bistro” to a new category, the “bistronomie”, a market cuisine using products characterized by proximity and high quality.

The menu of Le Bistrot de Paris is well balanced, and give you a choice of the best fish and meats, highlighting the Simmental, Charolais, Angus and Wagyu races. Their cheeseburgers “Fourme de Montbrison” are greatly appreciated, as well as snails.
